Nandigama Suresh, former MP and YSR Congress Party leader, has been released from jail after 145 days. The Guntur Court granted him bail in the murder case of Mariyamma, a woman killed in a clash in Amaravati. Despite a delay in surety submission, he was released after completing all formalities. The court set a ₹10,000 bond as part of his bail conditions.

YSR Congress Party leader and former Member of Parliament, Nandigama Suresh, has been released from jail. The Guntur Court granted him bail in the murder case of a woman named Mariyamma from Velagapudi. After 145 days, he was released from jail. Although the court approved his bail, his release was delayed yesterday due to a delay in submitting the sureties. After completing all the formalities, jail officials released him this morning. The court had ordered a ₹10,000 bond as part of the bail conditions.
Nandigama Suresh, who was released from jail, was named the 78th accused in the case following the death of Mariyamma in a clash between two groups in Amaravati in December 2020. She died due to injuries from stones thrown during the violence. Based on a complaint from her family, Thullur police filed a case and named Suresh as an accused. It was reported that Suresh had a minor health issue and was suffering from a collarbone pain, which led to his bail petition. The court granted him bail, and he was arrested by the police on October 7 last year. After 145 days, he was released from jail.
