Upcoming Apple Products Guide: What's Coming in 2026

Apple's product pipeline for 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most transformative in recent memory, with a mix of long-awaited form factors, display technology leaps, and AI-driven software enhancements. According to the latest rumors, the year will kick off with WWDC in June, followed by a packed September launch event and a series of updates stretching into late 2026 and early 2027. Below is a comprehensive look at what Apple enthusiasts can expect.

WWDC 2026: Software and Siri Overhaul

Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will begin on June 8, 2026, with a keynote that focuses on software. The company plans to preview iOS 27, macOS 27, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, and tvOS 27. The most significant update is a completely revamped Siri, which will leverage artificial intelligence to offer chatbot-like capabilities similar to ChatGPT or Claude. Siri will get its own standalone app and will be integrated into the iPhone's Dynamic Island. Apple Intelligence will also bring AI editing to the Photos app, a new Siri mode for Visual Intelligence in the Camera app, and a tool for generating custom wallpapers.

September 2026: The Biggest Launch Event

iPhone 18 Pro

The iPhone 18 Pro will feature a smaller Dynamic Island and a variable aperture Main lens that mimics a DSLR camera. It will be powered by an A20 Pro chip built on Apple's 2nm process and include Apple's C2 modem. A special "dark cherry" color is rumored as this year's exclusive shade.

iPhone Fold

Apple's first foldable iPhone is expected to debut in fall 2026. The device will have a 5.3-inch external display that unfolds into a 7.6-inch internal display, adopting a book-style design reminiscent of an iPad mini when open. At just 4.5mm when unfolded, it could be one of the thinnest foldables on the market. Apple is said to have used advanced display techniques and a highly durable hinge to virtually eliminate the crease. The Fold will include an A20 chip, dual rear cameras, and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor in the power button instead of Face ID. Pricing is expected to start around $2,500.

Apple Watch Series 12

The next-generation Apple Watch is not expected to bring major design changes. Rumors suggest it may receive only a chip refresh, with no new health sensors or form factor updates confirmed yet.

iPad mini 8

The iPad mini 8 will feature a significant upgrade to an OLED display, offering deeper blacks and better contrast. It may also include a vibration-based speaker system that eliminates speaker holes, improving water resistance. The tablet is expected to be powered by the same A20 chip used in the iPhone 18 Pro.

HomePod mini 2 and Home Hub

The second-generation HomePod mini is reportedly ready but waiting for the new Siri. It will feature an updated S-series chip based on the Apple Watch Series 10 and new color options. Meanwhile, Apple is also preparing a home hub with a 7-inch iPad-like display. Two models are in the works: a wall-mountable version and one with a speaker base resembling a HomePod mini. The hub will control smart home products, make video calls, display photos, and more.

Apple TV 4K

The Apple TV 4K will receive an Apple-designed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip, along with an A17 Pro processor that supports console-quality games and Apple Intelligence. No design changes are expected.

Late 2026: OLED MacBook Pro and Smart Home Camera

OLED MacBook Pro

A revamped 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro with OLED displays and 2nm M6 chips is anticipated in late 2026 or early 2027. The OLED panels will offer improved brightness and color accuracy. A hole-punch camera without a notch will maximize display area. The hinge will be reinforced to remain stable when the display is touched, reducing vibration for touch-based gestures.

Apple Smart Home Camera

Apple is designing its own indoor security cameras that integrate with HomeKit and the upcoming home hub. A launch as soon as late 2026 is possible.

Products with Unknown Release Dates

Several products are in development but lack confirmed timing. The Mac Studio will receive M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, but memory constraints may delay its release. The Mac mini will get M5 and M5 Pro updates without design changes. An updated low-cost iPad (12th generation) will feature the A19 chip from the iPhone 17. AirPods 5 and next-gen AirPods Pro are also in the works, with the Pro model possibly including infrared cameras for in-air gestures. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 remains unconfirmed but is expected to launch at some point. An M5 Max iMac (potentially reviving the iMac Pro) is being tested, and Apple is exploring AI-powered smart glasses to compete with Meta's Ray-Bans, possibly announcing them in 2026 before a 2027 launch.

2027 and Beyond

Apple's 2027 lineup includes the iPhone 18 (standard model) and iPhone 18e, both launching in spring, as part of a split strategy where premium models debut in fall and more affordable versions follow in spring. The AirPods Max are expected to receive an H2 chip and weight reduction. The iPad Pro will get an M6 chip and vapor chamber cooling. A 24-inch OLED iMac is also rumored for 2027. The 20th anniversary iPhone in September 2027 will have a curved enclosure with no bezels, an under-display selfie camera, and a narrow metal band around the edge. Additionally, a tabletop robot (J595) with a thin robotic arm and swivel base is expected to debut in 2027 as a more powerful version of the home hub.
